Vendor Central and Seller Central

Vendor Central is Amazon’s portal for suppliers under the Vendor model (1P): this is where the supplier receives purchase orders (POs), issues invoices and settles trading terms. Access is by invitation from Amazon only.
Seller Central is the portal for sellers under the Seller model (3P): the seller lists offers, sets its own prices and fulfils orders – in-house or through FBA. Registration is open.
Why it matters for manufacturers
Choosing a portal means choosing a sales model: who owns the stock, who sets the price and when the manufacturer gets paid.
