FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon)

FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) is Amazon’s logistics service: the goods are held in Amazon’s warehouses, and Amazon picks, ships and handles returns. An FBA offer has Prime.
The seller pays FBA fees for picking and shipping each item, depending on dimensions and weight, plus storage fees.
Why it matters for manufacturers
Prime has a strong effect on conversion, but an FBA warehouse in another EU country, e.g. Germany, means mandatory VAT registration in that country.
