Allegro in the Czech Republic and Slovakia – how to sell on allegro.cz and allegro.sk
Updated: · GrowNow team
A Polish seller with a business account can show offers from allegro.pl on allegro.cz and allegro.sk. Allegro translates the offers itself and converts prices into koruna and euros, and an offer becomes visible once the price list includes a delivery method to that country. Before launching, you need to sort out VAT (the €10,000 threshold and OSS) and EPR numbers for the Czech Republic and Slovakia – without them, Allegro hides offers in those markets.
How selling on allegro.cz and allegro.sk works
Allegro launched allegro.cz in 2023 and allegro.sk in 2024. For a Polish account they are additional sites: the same offer from allegro.pl can appear abroad with an automatically translated title, description and parameters. The price is converted at the European Central Bank rate – into Czech koruna on allegro.cz and into euros on allegro.sk. Sales abroad also support the offer’s popularity on allegro.pl.
Conditions for an offer to be visible
- a business account and the required level of sales quality,
- a delivery method to the country in the price list – this is what puts the offer on that market,
- the Buy Now format and a link to the Allegro Product Catalogue,
- a category available in that market (some categories are excluded),
- an EPR number for the destination country entered in the account settings.

Delivery and returns
For the Czech Republic, Allegro offers its Allegro International delivery method – couriers, pick-up points and parcel lockers, with prepayment and cash on delivery, which is popular in the Czech Republic. Without it, the offer won’t get the Smart! badge. In Slovakia, the Allegro International method for Slovakia is available; from September 2026, parcels are handled by Allegro One Kurier and InPost. Consumers have at least 14 days to withdraw from the contract and a further 14 days to send the goods back, and for purchases with Smart! the cost of the return is covered by Allegro.
VAT and rates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
Selling to consumers from Poland counts as distance selling. Up to €10,000 a year, in total across the whole EU, you charge Polish VAT; above the threshold, the VAT of the customer’s country applies, most simply through OSS. The standard VAT rate is 21% in the Czech Republic and 23% in Slovakia. Allegro’s price conversion does not take the difference in rates into account, so the margin has to be calculated separately for each market. A warehouse in the Czech Republic, e.g. at a fulfilment provider, means a local VAT registration.
EPR: EKO-KOM and Slovak compliance schemes
Since 18 August 2025, Allegro has required an EPR number for every EU country you ship goods to. In the Czech Republic, packaging is handled by the EKO-KOM scheme; in Slovakia, by one of the producer responsibility organisations, e.g. NATUR-PACK. Electronics and batteries need separate registrations. With only a few parcels a month, the fixed EPR costs can exceed the profit from the market, so it is worth calculating them before launching.
Advertising in foreign markets
Allegro Ads works on allegro.cz and allegro.sk the same way as in Poland, but campaigns are set up separately for each market. In a new market an offer starts with no sales history, so a launch campaign is usually the fastest way to the first orders.
Allegro CZ and SK in the GrowNow model
GrowNow sells on Allegro in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We buy the goods in Poland and run the offers, parameters, prices in koruna and euros, and Allegro Ads separately for each market. EPR registrations and VAT settlements are on our side.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate account on allegro.cz?
No. A business account on allegro.pl and a delivery method to the Czech Republic in the price list are enough. A separate account is needed if you want to sell only abroad or keep separate stock and prices.
Does Allegro translate offers automatically?
Yes. Allegro translates the title, description and parameters into Czech and Slovak. It is still worth checking the translations of your most important products.
Why doesn’t my offer appear on allegro.cz?
The most common reasons are no delivery method to the Czech Republic in the price list, no Czech EPR number, a category excluded in that market or no link to the Product Catalogue.
In which currency are sales settled?
On allegro.cz in Czech koruna, on allegro.sk in euros. Refunds are handled in the market currency.
Do Allegro Ads campaigns work abroad?
Yes, but they are set up separately for each market – a campaign from allegro.pl doesn’t carry over automatically to allegro.cz or allegro.sk.
